UQ Cyber Research Centre at the University of Queensland and the University of South Pacific are jointly running a series of online webinars aimed at strengthening research links between the Pacific and Australia. This initiative seeks to foster impactful cyber security research benefiting both regions.
We are pleased to invite you to our second webinar, featuring Mr Ron Bala, who will deliver a talk titled "Cybersecurity Research in Fiji and the region".
The presentation will be followed by a discussion session, providing an opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas.

Speaker's Bio:
Mr. Ron Bala is the director of the FIJI Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT). He is an experienced professional with over 20 years of expertise in cybersecurity operations, infrastructure management, cloud services, governance, risk management, compliance, and information assurance. Throughout his career, he has held multiple senior leadership roles and successfully delivered high-profile security and infrastructure projects.
