Abstract
This submission to the 2023-2030 Australian Cyber Security Strategy: Cyber Security Legislative Reforms Consultation Paper compiles feedback from academic and professional staff from the University of Queensland, and includes UQ Cyber, AusCERT, UQ School of Mathematics and Physics, T.C. Beirne School of Law, and UQ Information Technology Services division (ITS). This document focuses on specific questions relating to Measures 1, 2, and 4 in the Consultation Paper. A summary of our recommendations is provided in the paper below. Our detailed responses to the three measures are provided in the remainder of the document. Where applicable, our responses relate to specific questions or, in some circumstances, our responses address entire measures.
