Dr. Ares Cho

Dr. Ares, Chuan-Yu Cho, is currently the division director of infrastructure and cyber security division in Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan. He is leading several technology development projects focus on cyber security technologies, including technologies to support zero trust network and end-point protection, cyber posture assessment technology to evaluate risk exposure of network asset and infrastructure system software to support cloud and edge management automation.

Dr. Ares has been very actively to serve as the co-chair of security task force in Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) Taiwan, and has contributed to develop the first cyber security standard for Fab equipment, SEMI E187 since 2019.

Dr. Ares also known as one of the major executive directors for the cyber security industrial development project by Taiwan government, and is specifically focusing on improving the cyber security supply chain management and on developing a collaboration framework to achieve international cyber resilience.
