About Australia and Japan Cyber Security Workshop 2023

Promoting Cyber Security Sector Diversity and Bilateral Interdisciplinary Research

Workshop aim: To promote greater diversity in cyber security and share game-changing interdisciplinary research between Australia and Japan to address complex cyber security challenges, engage researchers, industry experts and students. Building long term research collaboration and knowledge sharing for effective awareness of cyber security education and industry collaboration between academia-industry to better identify skills gaps in the workforce and priority challenges requiring immediate solutions for industry. Students will be able to participate, allowing them to learn more about the cyber security profession from experts and establish industry relationships.

About UQ and Blue Inc. (Tokyo) Cyber Security workshop

“Promoting Cyber Security Sector Diversity and Bilateral Interdisciplinary Research”

The University of Queensland, BLUE Inc. (Tokyo), and AusCERT are partnering to offer one day workshop seminars to address complex cyber security challenges, engage researchers, industry experts and students.

Industry professionals from both countries will be presenting across three themes aimed at promoting and sharing game-changing interdisciplinary research between Australia and Japan.
